Visit of the Delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Industry & Mineral Resources and the Saudi Export Development Authority to Utopia Pharma

Utopia Pharma welcomed a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Saudi Export Development Authority, headed by His Excellency Eng. Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salama, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs, accompanied by several senior officials from the Ministry and the Authority.
The visit comes within the framework of strengthening industrial and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the field of pharmaceutical industries.

The visit was also attended by a delegation from the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), including:

  • Dr. Tamer El-Husseiny – Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority

  • Dr. Amira Mahgoub – Assistant to the Chairman for Inspection and Head of the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Establishment Inspection

  • Dr. Osama Hatem – Assistant to the Chairman for International Cooperation and Head of the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Policies and Market Support
    In addition to representatives from the International Cooperation Sector, as well as the Pharmaceutical Investment and Inspection Sectors.

The delegation was received by:

  • Dr. El-Saeed Kamel – Chairman of Utopia Pharma

  • Dr. Kamel Kamel – Managing Director
    Along with several company executives.

During the visit, the delegation conducted a comprehensive field tour inside Utopia’s production facilities, where they expressed great admiration for the factory’s advanced design, its strict adherence to global quality and production standards (cGMP), and its modern technologies that reflect significant progress in the pharmaceutical industry.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency the Deputy Minister praised Utopia Pharma’s efforts in supporting the pharmaceutical sector and enhancing opportunities for regional cooperation, emphasizing the importance of continuing partnerships between the two brotherly countries to achieve industrial integration between Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
