Utopia Welcomes General James Kabarebe, Rwanda’s Minister of State for Regional Cooperation, Along with a High-Level Rwandan Delegation

On the sidelines of the official visit of H.E. President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda to Cairo and his meeting with H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Wednesday, September 23, 2025, Utopia Pharma welcomed the high-level delegation accompanying the Rwandan President.

The delegation was received by Dr. El Saied Kamel, Chairman of the Board. The visiting delegation included General James Kabarebe, Rwanda’s Minister of State for Regional Cooperation, Ambassador Dan Munyuza, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Cairo, along with several senior officials.

During the visit, the delegation toured Utopia’s production lines and quality systems. The team highly praised the company’s products and highlighted the importance and need for these medicines within the Republic of Rwanda.

This visit comes within the framework of Egypt’s commitment to strengthening joint cooperation with African countries. Preparations are currently underway for the establishment of an advanced cardiac care center in Kigali, Rwanda, which is expected to significantly enhance Rwanda’s capabilities in treating heart diseases and benefit several other African countries as well.

Utopia Pharma is committed to investing in African countries and exporting Egyptian pharmaceutical products to support these nations in achieving self-sufficiency in essential medicines.

The Minister also praised Egypt’s role in supporting Rwanda’s healthcare sector through advanced medical training programs and cooperation in pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply.
