Utopia Pharmaceuticals Welcomes High-Level Delegation from Abia State, Nigeria to Strengthen Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Cooperation and Technology Transfer
Utopia Pharmaceuticals welcomed a high-level delegation from Abia State, Federal Republic of Nigeria, headed by His Royal Majesty King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere (The Okwuorie One), during an official visit to the company’s advanced industrial facilities in Egypt.
The visit was held under the guidance and leadership of Dr. Saied Kamel, Chairman of Utopia Pharmaceuticals, as part of the company’s vision to strengthen pharmaceutical and industrial cooperation among African countries, support the localization of pharmaceutical manufacturing, and promote technology transfer across the continent.
During the visit, the delegation toured Utopia’s manufacturing facilities, including modern production lines, quality control laboratories, and research & development centers. The delegation praised the company’s advanced industrial capabilities, modern technologies, and quality systems implemented in accordance with international standards.
Dr. Saied Kamel emphasized the importance of strengthening African partnerships in the pharmaceutical sector, highlighting that Utopia prioritizes the transfer of expertise and technology, development of human capabilities, and supporting pharmaceutical security across Africa.
Discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation in pharmaceutical technology transfer, technical training, and establishing joint pharmaceutical manufacturing projects in Nigeria, in addition to supporting access to treatments for priority health challenges across Africa, including malaria and chronic diseases.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides agreed to continue discussions, with Utopia Pharmaceuticals welcoming the official invitation to visit Abia State, Nigeria, to explore future investment opportunities and strategic partnerships in the pharmaceutical sector.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to building a successful African cooperation model that contributes to advancing pharmaceutical manufacturing, knowledge transfer, and improving healthcare quality across the continent
